Anatomy of a Molecule

Anatomy of a MoleculeChemistry is defined as the study of the chemical bonds. The bonds in this case are between molecules of one element combination and the other element. These are relatively long, slender chains. The physical properties of the atoms and their relative quantities determine how well the chemical bonds hold together.Cations make up the majority of atoms and neutral or non-polar molecules. These are positively charged ions and negatively charged anions. The most common cations are hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen.Neutral or non-polar molecules have a balance of positive charges. These cations make up the majority of atoms and neutral or non-polar molecules. There are many types of these molecules including amines, ketones, amides, and alkenes. These are compounds made of more than one cation. An example of a Cation-Anion Equivalent is protein. All compounds have both a positive and negative charge. A cation has a charge equal to that of the positively charged anion. One molecule of a non-polar molecule is composed of an atom with a charge equal to that of the cation. It's unique contribution to the total cation-anion charge balance is its added negative charge. Each part of the atom contributes to the overall total of cation-anion charges, therefore each part will have a distinct, measurable effect on the behavior of the rest of the atom.Proton Diatomic Compounds, Phosphate, Inorganic Compounds, (Potassium Chloride, Potassium Iodide) Organic Compounds, (Glycerin, Egg Whites, Fatty Acids) Organic Acid Compounds, Organic Nitrogen Compounds, (Glycerol, Chlorhexidine, Bromine) Herbal, Synthetic, RadiologicalA cation is made of hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen. The cation is found in protein molecules and carbon compounds. This is where the chemical bond between the negatively charged anion and the positively charged cation is created. During the protein synthesis process the protein is combined with anions and the resulting compounds are cations. When co mpounds of anions and cations are joined, they form what is called a covalent bond.A cation and anion have a completely different molecular structure. The cation consists of a single atom, while the anion is composed of two. A cation consists of two groups of atoms, while an ion consists of one group of atoms.Biosynthesis, Biochemistry, and Cell biology use the term cation and anion interchangeably. All components of these fields must be aware of this new chemistry definition and effect so many different studies.

Work Definition - What Is It?

Work Definition - What Is It?Work definition is important when you are looking to determine whether you should consider pursuing a career in chemistry. While the general public usually considers a job as an appropriate career for them, many will often tell you that you are not an ideal candidate unless you have a chemistry degree. Whether or not you want to pursue a career in chemistry is really up to you but you should be aware of what it means to have a work definition to figure out if chemistry is the right career for you.First of all, you need to decide whether or not work definition means that you are required to perform scientific laboratory research. If so, then obviously, you probably would be a chemist. However, it could mean that you only have to carry out laboratory work if there is a chemistry job open and it does not mean that you are only required to do laboratory work for your life after school. For example, I am a licensed practical nurse and am not required to do any scientific laboratory research while I was working for a company. Then, you also need to determine whether or not you are required to complete a specific work definition of chemical materials for a particular course. For example, there is a requirement that you must complete chemical lab requirements that you took as part of the chemistry department when you were a student. This is just one form of work definition and you might not even be required to complete this at all, especially if you take a course that does not require chemical lab work at all. Then, you also need to determine what type of work you will be doing after school is over. If you have completed a four year degree from a university, then you will most likely find a lab technician position or a position with a pharmaceutical company where you will work closely with a chemist. If you are thinking about doing a degree that is not accredited, you might not have a real work definition of what your career path might look l ike in the future. It is important to realize that even after you graduate, there will be a wide variety of new career paths that you can take. Therefore, you will still need to have a work definition in order to know what your expectations are as far as the direction you want to go in your life. Also, be sure to make sure that you have a work definition that includes a job outlook for at least three years after you graduate. You do not want to waste time chasing down a new career when you are actually chasing after a more desirable career. For example, if you are not sure if you will ever return to school for a degree in chemistry, you might want to work with your life coach to help you get a work definition of a career that you can continue to pursue after you graduate. Finally, make sure that you make sure that you have a work definition so that you know if you want to continue your education or pursue a different career. Often, there is a definite difference between a career and a job. However, make sure that you think through this carefully before making a decision about pursuing your education.

Dividing Matrices

Dividing Matrices Dividing matrices cannot do directly as usual division. Dividing matrices is similar to dividing mixed fractions. As we are doing in dividing mixed fractions find the inverse of divisor matrix and multiply with the matrix in the numerator. If A and B are two matrix then A/B = A (1/B) = A B-1.B-1 is the inverse of B. Actually we dont divide the matrix; it can be done by multiplying with the inverse of matrix. The following examples help you to understand the division of matrices. Example 2: Explain the steps involved in matrix division. Solution: Let us assume two matrixes are A and B To divide two matrix B/A We cannot divide the matrix directly To divide matrix B/A, first find out inverse of A And then multiply with matrix B. The inverse of A can be found by swapping the position of matrix and divide everything by the determinant. After finding the inverse of matrix B, multiply with matrix A. While multiplying matrix we need to do the dot product of rows and columns. The final matrix is division of B/A.

4 Ways Parents Can Help High School Students Succeed

4 Ways Parents Can Help High School Students Succeed High school can easily become an overwhelming experience. You and your student may face multiple obstacles, both academic and social, and you may thus be wondering, How can I help my high school student succeed? Among other actions, parents can help high school students succeed by keeping current with teachers, helping students plan what classes to take, and establishing goals for the future. Supporting your student is key. Here are four ways parents can help high school students succeed: 1. Help your high school student succeed by remaining up-to-date with teachers and grades Parent-teacher communication can fall by the wayside as your child grows older. We sometimes believe that high school students are independent enough not to need face-to-face meetings between the adults in their lives, but high schoolerslike younger studentsdo best when supported by parents. One of the best ways to effectively support your child is to be in touch with his or her school. Attend your students open house or back-to-school night, which is often before school starts or at the beginning of the year. There, you can meet one or more of your childs teachers, as well as any administration youd like to talk to or hear from. Youll get to know the vision of the school (if youre not already familiar with it), as well as practical expectations from teachers and school policies for: attendance discipline homework. Attend parent-teacher conferences too. They may be less frequent than those in elementary or middle school, but they are great ways to stay in touch about how your child is doing in the specific class, as well as how he or she can improve. Remember that you can always initiate and set up an appointment with a teacher or administrator should a specific issue arise. Additionally, many schools now have online parent portals that provide access to student grades or allow parent-teacher communication. [RELATED: High School Parent-Teacher Conferences: What to Ask] 2. Help your high school student succeed by planning which classes to take In high school, more so than in middle school, students have a wider variety of classes to choose from. Theyll have core subjectsincluding English, history, math, and scienceplus electives. Your child will likely meet with a school counselor before each semester to discuss course schedules, but take some time to discuss this with your student as well. In terms of core classes, consider the different levels of difficulty: honors, AP (Advanced Placement), and IB (International Baccalaureate) courses. If he or she is game, encourage your child to take AP or IB classes (if available). These courses give students a healthy challenge and a jump-start in college. They also look good on a college application. In terms of electives, encourage your student to take classes that could extend his or her knowledge of a potential career path or personal interest, or those that are just a great creative outlet. 3. Help your high school student succeed by encouraging participation in extracurricular activities Extracurricular activities, especially in high school, have countless benefits. They help students become more invested in school, and can serve as opportunities to make friends. They help students get to know teachers (if they sponsor a club or team), as well as develop leadership and teamwork skills. They help students better articulate what they might like about a subject or possible career. They allow students to develop a healthy sense of independence. Beyond clubs, sports, and teams at school, talk to your child about possible internships or service activities in the community. Some schools can connect students to internships with organizations they already have relationships with, and who are familiar with working with students. These types of commitments will offer your child real world experience and help him or her gain a better sense of what it means to be a member of the community. 4. Help your high school student succeed by making plans for college and beyond Discuss college and career early on in high school so your student knows what to look forward to and how he or she might be able to get there. Help your child schedule standardized tests, like the SAT or ACT, and plan out a study schedule to break down prep into manageable chunks. Suggest resources, like test prep books and tutoring, that can act as supports. Speak with your student about his or her future aspirations, and make short and long-term goals to get there, even though these aspirations might change over the years. Visit colleges, if possible, and discuss with your child what he or she is looking for, and what would work best for your students learning style, future career, and finances. The above tips can help you and your student make the most of high school. The idea is clear communication: with your students school, their teachers, and with your student. When checking in with your child regularly, you can better discern how to balance their independence with how you can support them academicallyand emotionallythroughout this important time. Getting Down to Business Useful Italian Phrases and Etiquette Tips for Doing Business

Getting Down to Business Useful Italian Phrases and Etiquette Tips for Doing Business Brooke Neuman Close the deal on your next Italian business trip with this lesson from  Italian teacher Nadia B. on  useful Italian phrases and etiquette tips for doing business Are you planning on doing business in Italy? It’s important that you learn Italianâ€"even just a littleâ€"before your trip, as you want to interact with constituents in a professional and polite manner. In this article, we’ll explore various useful Italian phrases and words you can use to ensure your meetings go off without a hitch. But before we jump into learning Italian, below are some helpful etiquette tips. Italian Business Etiquette Tips When it comes to doing business, Italy and the U.S. are fairly similar; however, there are some cultural differences. Use the tips below to ensure that you’re well prepared for your meeting. Be on time: Contrary to popular belief, Italians take punctuality for business meetings very seriously. Make sure your on time for meetings and leave yourself enough time to get to your destination if you’re not familiar with the area. Gift giving: Only after you’ve established a trusted relationship with your Italian constituents is it appropriate to give a small gift. Proper gifts include liquors, delicacies, or crafts from your native country. Dress Code: Italians are as serious about their fashion as they are their food. Make sure, therefore, that you dress to impress. Men typically wear high-quality, tailored suits, while women opt for a feminine skirt suit or dress. Greetings: Greet the group by saying “Buongiorno” (good morning) or Buonasera? (good afternoon/evening) and shake each individual’s hand. Typically, older people and women will be introduced first. Titles:  When meeting someone for the first time, address the person with his or her appropriate title followed by his or her last name. For example, Dottore and Dottoressa for individuals holding a university degree, Avvocato for a lawyer,  Ingegnere for an engineer, and Architetto for an architect. Useful Italian Phrases for Business Perhaps the most important concept to learn in Italian is the use of the formal ‘you’. While in English, there’s only one way to address a person, in Italian theres a  formal (“Lei”) and an informal (“tu”) option. In most business situations, you’ll want to use “Lei” since it’s more formal and a sign of respect. However, if you find yourself among colleagues of a similar age in a more casual situation, it may be more appropriate to use “tu”. Here are some other useful Italian phrases for initial introductions and greetings, as well as some  helpful  networking phrases. “Buongiorno, come sta/stai?” (Hello, how are you [formal/informal]?) “Piacere.” (Nice to meet you.) “Come si chiama/ti chiami?” (What is your name (formal/informal)?) “Sono ___.” (My name is ___.) “Per quale società lavora/i?” (For what company do you [formal/informal] work?) “M’interesserebbe sapere più del suo/tuo lavoro.” (I would be interested to learn more about your [formal/informal] work.) “Posso avere il suo/tuo recapito?” (Can I have your [formal/informal] contact information?) “Se vuole/vuoi, mi piacerebbe incontrarci per un caffè.” (If you [formal/informal] like, I’d like to meet you for a coffee.) When you’re really getting down to business, you might need the following Italian phrases. “Quanto costerebbe questo progetto?” (How much would this project cost?) “Quanti articoli vorrebbe/vorresti?” (How many items would you [formal/informal] want?) “Quando potrebbe essere realizzato?” (When could it be completed?) “Possiamo usare l’inglese per communicare?” (Can we use English to communicate?) Lastly, here are some useful Italian vocabulary words that might come in handy. la riunione (meeting) l’agenda (agenda) la presentazione (presentation) il verbale (report) la tassa (tax) il salario (salary) gli affari (business [in the general sense]) l’azienda/l’impresa (company) l’impiego/il lavoro (occupation) il negozio (shop/store) il/la cliente (client) il pranzo di lavoro (working lunch) il biglietto da visita (business card) i contatti (contacts) With these useful Italian phrases and etiquette tips above, youll be able to smoothly navigate throughout the world of business in Italy. If you've got rehearsal for the Nutcracker or Swan Lake and feel that you should brush up on your ballet pointe technique or just want to broaden your repertoire before you start your placement at an academy of dance, your tutor can focus on what you need to improve far more than you could in your typical adult class. The Questions You Need to Ask Your Potential Dance TeacherBefore you choose your dance teacher or dance academy, you have to ask a few questions.Make sure they have the necessary qualifications. A good dancer isn’t necessarily a good teacher, so make sure that they have qualifications and experience in teaching. Gener ally, the teacher should have at least a level 3 qualification (A Level or equivalent) in dancing.People tend to think that ballet lessons are expensive. You should make sure that you do your research on the cost before you start aspiring to be the next George Balanchine, the man who founded the New York City Ballet where he was the Artistic Director for many years a.k.a. the father of American Ballet. In some cases, you can pay every month, semester, or year to make things easier. You can pay for several lessons at once at some of the more modern dance schools. This means you can show up to several different dance classes and try them out. Some places even offer discounts for students, job seekers, senior citizens, or just for signing up several family members or friends at the same school. What does the ideal ballet tutor look like? (Source: creades)When you sign up, you might be asked a few questions about your health and fitness just to make sure that you won’t injure yourself du ring lessons. This is often a legal requirement. You’ll also be expected to provide general information like your name, address, telephone number, etc. Some ballet teachers may even expect you to wear specific clothes for their lessons. Make sure you find out if they do and, if so, what they are. Otherwise, you should get a leotard, tights or leggings, ballet shoes, and make sure you tie your hair up. Don’t wear anything that could hinder your movements. It’s common for schools to offer free taster sessions for the first class of the year. This is useful for helping you decide whether or not the course is for you. You should focus on the teaching style and how they structure their lesson.A lot of schools also put on an end of year show to show off what their students are capable of. However, this may mean that a student has to pay more. Make sure you find out if they do and, if so, how much it would cost.  Go see this show to see if it seems like the type of school you’d like to attend and check out the students’ level, etc. These shows often take place in the summer. What You Should Look for in a Ballet TeacherTaster sessions and classes are a great opportunity to look out for the qualities your tutor should have:It can take a while to get this flexible. (Source: studioessen)Teaching skills: A good dancer isn’t necessarily a good teacher. They need to be able to clearly break down each steps so that everyone understands them. They also need to be able to adapt to each student’s needs. The choreography needs to be suitable for the level: It’s normal not to be able to follow along with the choreography if you’ve never danced before, but you should look at the other students. If nobody seems to be getting it then the routine may be too advanced for the students and this is a sign that the teacher isn’t capable of adapting their classes. On the other hand, if the moves all seem too easy for the students, it can also be a bad thing.Patience and car e: Learning to dance can take some time. A ballet teacher should never forget to be patient and care about their students. They need to correct their students’ mistakes and encourage their student to improve. A good teacher is nurturing and encouraging.Motivating students:  When an exercise is done right, a good tutor should congratulate their students. They know how to motivate their students when they have doubts. A good teacher is also like a coach. They respect the limits of each student, especially in terms of flexibility:  Flexibility is one of the fundamentals of ballet. However, not everyone’s the same, and that’s alright. None of the exercises should harm you. Every exercise needs to be done with the physical abilities of the student. The time spent warming up:  To avoid injuries, warming up needs to take a certain amount of time, especially when it comes to ballet. Before any exercises are done with the ballet barre, you should be encouraged to warm up and make sure th at you stretch sufficiently.Technical and artistic skills: a ballet teacher should make you want to dance like them. Otherwise, why should you even pick them to be your teacher? Whether it’s their improvisation or how they perfectly execute a pas de deux and an entrechat, they have to impress you. Additionally, you may have to pay attention to the type of ballet. You don't want to focus on classical ballet with a ballerina who's dance training focused on contemporary ballet. In short:Choose where you’d like to take ballet lessons: conservatoires, dance schools, ballet academies, dance studios, or with a private tutor.Ask your potential teacher some questions about the cost, timetable, clothing, their qualifications, etc. Were they a professional dancer? Do they have experience as a choreographer at a national ballet company? Have they taught or studied at a ballet academy?Research your potential teacher’s skills and qualities: teaching skills, abilities, confidence, personality , etc.So what are you waiting for? Get your ballet slippers and tutu ready!Don't forget that on Superprof you can also find a trained tutor who teaches jazz, tap, pilates, or contemporary dance for adults. To learn about the history of ballet, follow the link!

5 Primary Reasons Students Should Prefer A Virtual Classroom

5 Primary Reasons Students Should Prefer A Virtual Classroom Take into account the kids experience when they first enter a virtual classroom. They have to explore through the classroom, locate the obliged materials, and turn out to be exceptionally energetic. This is to stay aware of the discourses and assignments help. They should have the capacity to feel joined with the class, trust the course will meet their particular scholarly and/or vocation needs, get help when required, and create important associations with their educators. What can obstruct this procedure and decrease the potential for learning is the dependence on composed words as the essential type of correspondence. The classroom can then turn out to be verging on mechanical in nature for students. They debilitate them from being completely drawn in and working towards top execution. 5 Vedic #Math Secrets for Every Student to be a Math Genius http://t.co/MMgHewbMkX pic.twitter.com/RcUK3vAsmf â€" Tutor Pace (@TutorPace) September 21, 2015 5 strategies to help virtual online tutoring to be effective 25% of the teachers perform well beyond the negligible prerequisites, pretty much as I have constantly attempted to as an online tutors. So to surpass the base necessities and make a connection with the environment. While it may appear that these techniques ought to be utilized by all educators. Some like to finish just what is obliged keeping in mind that is worthy it doesnt prompt an ideal learning knowledge. Create virtual Engaging Discussion Posts Most online classes have some type of talks, regularly every week of the class. The necessities for educators for the most part include their response to students and the nature of those posts could conceivably be particularly expressed in their agreement. What an educators exchange reaction can do is to develop what kids have composed. Brief discriminating speculation and a more profound comprehension of the course subjects, and assist kids with interfacing the themes to true circumstances and issues. The test is setting aside an ideal opportunity to specialty reactions that achieve these objectives. It presupposes having the capacity to post something more than a brisk receptive reaction. It is useful to recognize something that every child has composed, and close with a question that prompts their scholarly interest. At the point when a post is substantive and drawing in the dialog with students is liable to proceed. While some online tutoring lean toward the word facilitator, the work that a teacher performs includes significantly more than encouraging a procedure. An instructor is somebody who can assist students with gaining the important scholarly aptitudes and have the persistence important to manage and guide them. As they work towards change of their formative needs. An online tutor is somebody who comprehends the rudiments of grown-up learning and knows speculations portion that can advise their work. As teachers, the concerns regarding grown-up instructions turn them into an instructor. Some students are contracted as a result of their topic ability.
